What is Fanfare for The Commons?
It's a concert to celebrate the power and beauty of music by the magnificent Minnesota Orchestra performing in the exquisite setting of Excelsior Commons, Excelsior, Minnesota.

How much does it cost? It's free!

Will there be food? Yes! Curated boxed dinners will be available for preorder on this website* and for purchase at the event (while supplies last). Coalition Restaurant and Small Lot Wine & Spirits will be on site to sell snackage and refreshments including wine, beer (non-alcoholic, too) to those over 21. Water also available. Participating boxed dinner providers will be announced soon. There will not be any food trucks at this event.

Are children welcome? Yes! This is a family-friendly event and a wonderful opportunity to introduce children to classical and pop (and pop-up) music!

Can I bring my dog? Well-behaved, obedient dogs who appreciate classical music are welcome. Reptiles, birds, cats, cows, horses —not so much.

Where can I park? Excelsior has both public parking lots and street parking; you should check signage to see if you're in a metered spot. Avoid Permit Parking Only. Parking can be paid using the posted QR codes. The City’s new parking garage at 1 West Drive will be open as well.

What if it rains on July 1st? There is no rain date. Pray for sunny skies.
